School is COOL
I passed boards and I got into nursing school! I start UMC nursing program May 31!!!! Beat that homeboy!

Boo Ya!
Ok. Bout due time for an update...
1. National Boards are coming up, March 18th so I am in full study mode.. (or at least I keep telling myself I am)
2. Sleep hygiene has not improved so therefore I took a 4 hour nap today. Way to go Haley.
3. Today was a bad day for foul language. It just kept popping out everywhere. Other than today, my friends said they noticed how I was really watching what I say. Boo ya!
4. I have been in 2 5k's since I started the new year! Boo ya again... too bad I forgot my inhaler both time. moron.
5.Organization.. not coming along at all since I am "in study mode" I have been stalking blogs all night tonight looking at all the things they organized and wishing I could organize and post pics on my blog. maybe ill post study areas and study guides.
6. becoming a better wife... i don't know if I am. we would have to ask josh. I will let him take a survey and get back to you.
7. going ot church. I am embarassed and ashamed to say I have only been once to church(but it was with my sweet Pawpaw). The Lord is frowning upon me right now for that one visit, but he is smiling about my decrease in foul language. Anyway, since my grandmother passed away in November, my grandfather (never went to church, knew the Lord, been baptized, prayed, talked about church, jesus, heaven, etc.) is getting baptized this Sunday. I absolutely CANNOT wait to see this! He is 87 years old people. He has NEVER been baptized. The Lord took my grandmother first so my grandfather could come to know Him!!! Love it... I am going to take pictures and post them of my sweet PawPaw!
8. Lose 30 lbs. I haven't even lost 5.. so much for that huh?

18 Days In...
18 days into the new year.. and how's it going on the resolutions.
1. figure out why i sleep all the time. I am going to the doctor Jan 19 and that's one of my questions for her. I was off today and what did i do? you guessed it. slept
2. watching my foul language.. it's getting better. Rome wasn't built in a day people. Babies crawl before they walk. I am still trying though. I am making a concious effort.
3. to run a 5k.. i have been riding my bike... does that count. I am still going to the doctors appt tomorrow morning to see if i can... so hush. I signed up for a 5k January 29.. but I am walking that bad boy!
4. to get my house super organized. I am doing good. I still need to paint and finish a few projects, clean out the guest bedroom...etc.
5. to become a better wife. I am reading a book called "the power of a praying wife" i am really trying to NOT change my husband.. but pray about everything.
6. go to church more often. well, that one is not going so well. It's the easiest one. Get up on Sunday and go. How hard is that. Well this weekend.. i have board review Fri. Sat and Sun... so that counts me out. I think on the 30th.. if I'm not dead from the 5k walk I am doing Saturday.. then I am going.
7. lose 30 lbs. Well, I am on Weight Watchers. The first week I gained 1.4 lbs.. so I was depressed about it. I ate popsicles, cookie dough, pizza, brownies, etc. Week 2 won't be good either. I gotta get back on the bandwagon
